ANNA CZAKAŃSKA-KUŹMA

Advocate. In 2011 entered into the Krakow Bar of Advocates' register. Since 2006 she has cooperated with Forystek & Partnerzy Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni Law Firm. Graduate of the Law Faculty at the Jagiellonian University and Law studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium (within the Socrates Erasmus Programme). Completed postgraduate studies: the Intellectual Property Law as well as The European Union Law, both at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She specializes in civil and commercial law, in particular she possesses extensive experience in industrial property rights and copyright law (i.e. R&D agreements, licence agreements, legal opinions, court litigations re. patents and trademarks). In addition she possesses long term experience in rendering legal services to large companies, incl. companies from chemical and cable industries.

Anna Czakańska-Kuźma has participated in number of international projects covering companies sales, licence agreements for technological processes, coordination of setting up and functioning of the foreign subsidiaries. She is experienced in court litigations including cases before arbitration courts (Arbitration Court at the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice). In 2007-2008 and 2011-2012 she worked as a lawyer in European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. In 2004 she was at an internship at a law firm in London. Speaks English (CPE).
