We represent pre-WWII owners of real estate properties located outside the current borders of the Republic of Poland (in the Eastern Borderlands) and their heirs in any cases that are concluded with finally obtaining financial compensation by them in accordance with the Act on the right to compensation for the property left outside the current borders of the Polish State (zabużańskie property) of 8 July 2005.

In particular, we run cases held before Governors, the Minister of Treasury, and, if necessary, also before administration courts (Voivodeship Administration Courts (WSA) and Supreme Administrative Court (NSA)). In the course of the cases, we carry out proceedings that declare persons dead, establish the content of civil law marriage certificates, as well as confirmation of Polish citizenship. On behalf of our clients we request consular missions of the Republic of Poland and the state archives of Lithuania, Ukraine, and Belarus with motions to find documentation concerning lost real estate properties. We represent zabużanskie property owners in disputes with the Minister of Treasury concerning the type and area of lost assets, and also their value calculated by real estate property appraisers.
